The purpose of the Health
Scrutiny Committee is to ensure that local health services meet the
needs of the community, key functions are:
Providing oversight and
accountability through monitoring performance of local health
services.
Strengthening the voice of
local people in commissioning and delivery of health
services.
Taking a strategic view of how
well health, public health and social care services
integrate.
Ensuring that scrutiny is conducted in an open and transparent manner.
