Councillor Tony Stowe - Disclosable Pecuniary Interest (DPI) - Councillor Stowe declared a disclosable pecuniary interest in application 3/21/1925/FUL, on the grounds that he had previously made a referral request to the Chairman for this matter to come before the Development Management Committee citing planning reasons. He said that, whilst the proposed conditions had addressed and alleviated his concerns, he felt that he could be perceived as having judged the application by virtue of the referral request.
Councillor Stowe left the Council Chamber and took no part in the decision making process in respect of application 3/21/1925/FUL.
Councillor Tim Page - Non Pecuniary Interest (NPI) - Councillor Page declared a personal interest in application 3/21/1756/FUL, on the grounds that he been one of the Members that had sat on the Licensing Sub-Committee that had made a determination on a premises licence application on this site.
Councillor Eric Buckmaster - Non Pecuniary Interest (NPI) - Councillor E Buckmaster said that he was present solely in his capacity as a Member for Hunsdon ward which included the proposed development areas to represent the interests of the people living in those areas and the wider community. He said that he had not shared anything of what he was going to say with any Member of the Committee.
Councillor Ruth Buckmaster - Non Pecuniary Interest (NPI) - Councillor R Buckmaster said that for the purposes of transparency, she needed to declare that her husband, Councillor E Buckmaster, would be addressing the Development Management Committee as a local ward Member. She said that this had no bearing on her role as a Member of the Committee and she had come to the meeting to determine the application with an open mind.
