The 2 plots of land contain balancing ponds
created within a housing estate under an official SuDs
scheme.
The transfer of 2 plots of land were from Hubert Leach Ltd who went
into liquidation and was signed by the liquidators along with
payment made to EHDC in 2018 of a commuted sum of £35,190 to
cover future SuDs and grounds maintenance.
The transfer was intended to be signed and completed by EHDC which
for reasons unknown did not occur at that time.
Head of Strategic Finance and Property acting under authority
delegated within Part 3c, paragraph 13.15 of the council’s
Constitution is recommended to:
Approve the transfer of the 2 plots of land at School Lane,
Sawbridgeworth to this council on the agreed terms
