Exclusion of Press and Public To move that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of item 7 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act of the following description:
1. “ Information relating to an individual”. Minutes: Councillor Townsend proposed and Councillor Connolly seconded, a motion that pursuant to Section 100 (A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 as amended, the press and public be excluded during consideration of the business referred to in Minute 21, on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act.
After being put to the meeting and a vote taken, the motion was declared CARRIED.
RESOLVED – that the press and public be excluded during consideration of the business referred to in Minute 21, on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act. |

Consideration of a Temporary Event Notices given for the Ware Express, 79 High Street, Ware, SG12 9AD (24/1050/TEN) A Temporary Event Notice (TEN) has been given
by Mr Kemal Ovet, the premises user, to allow licensable activity,
that is, the selling of alcohol for consumption off the premises,
for an extended period at Ware Express which benefits from premises
licence 22/0304/PLV. An objection has been received from
Hertfordshire Constabulary in their role as a statutory consultee.
Where objections are received against a TEN, and not withdrawn,
there must be a Licensing Sub-Committee meeting to decide on the
licensable activities covered by that TEN. This report is to inform
the decision of the Licensing Sub-Committee. Minutes: Full details in the restricted minutes. |
