a) Approved an extension of the current grounds maintenance contract with Glendale for a further five years, including an appropriate break clause to align with Local Government Reorganisation.

b) Agreed the withdrawal of glyphosate use across East Herts Council owned parks and open spaces and support the investigation and implementation of alternative weed control methods.

a) Considered and noted the projected £505k overspend on the 2025/26 revenue budget.

b) Agreed the inclusion of an additional £400k UK Shared prosperity Fund (UKSPF) grant for capital projects, and its addition to the capital programme.

c) Considered and noted the forecast £2.505 million underspend on the 2025/26 capital programme and the currently anticipated £1.14 million carry?forward, which remains subject to change at year?end.

a) The 2025/26 quarter three corporate risk register and actions being taken to control and mitigate risk was considered and noted.

b) That the actions being taken following the recent internal audit report on the Council’s risk management arrangements were noted.

A. Executive considered the content of the report and provided observations to the Director for Legal, Policy and Governance.

B. That the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) Policy at Appendix B be adopted.

To consider such other business as, in the opinion of the Chairman of the meeting, is of sufficient urgency to warrant consideration and is not likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information.

No Part II business has been notified for this meeting. If Part II business is notified and the procedures set out in the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 have been complied with, the Chairman will move: -
