Purpose:

BEAM relies on external IT support for its key systems, due to the building being open weekends and evenings. It is critical that robust support is in place to ensure systems are working and if there are issues, they can be resolved quickly to avoid loss of income or inability to deliver the programme. The contract for IT support expires in April 2026 and a tender exercise was undertaken over February and March for new services

Decision:

To award a contract to ITBuilder for IT Support Services to BEAM, for three years, starting on 10th April 2026, following a tender and evaluation process where ITBuilder were the highest scorers

Option 1 - To award a contract for three years of IT support to ITBuilder
Option 2 - To not award a contract
