1.   Election of Chairman of the Council (and Vice-Chairman if necessary) for the remainder of the Civic Year.

2.   Chairman (and Vice-Chairman if necessary) to make the statutory declaration of acceptance of office.

3.   To approve as a correct record and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the Council meeting held on 1 March 2006 [28kb]

4.   To receive any announcements which the Chairman may wish to make.

5.   To receive any Members' declarations of interest.

6.   To receive any petitions.

(A) Planting of Trees at Havers Estate, Bishop's Stortford

A petition comprising 158 signatures has been submitted by Councillor Mrs Norma Symonds (Bishop's Stortford Town Council) as follows:

"Councillor Mrs Norma Symonds and a resident of the Havers Estate and the undersigned object to a copse of trees being planted in an area set aside as a games area for the children of the estate."
