1. To approve as a correct record and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the Council meeting held on 23 July 2003 and the special Council meeting held on 10 September 2003.
2. To receive any announcements which the Chairman may wish to make.
3. To receive any Members' declarations of interest.
4. To receive any petitions.
(A) Farmers' Market
A petition containing 673 signatures has been received as follows:
"We, the undersigned, wish to show our support for a regular Farmers Market in Hertford, to be managed by the Town Council. We believe that this will be instrumental in helping Hertford retain its vibrancy, and will help support local agriculture and horticulture."
The petition was presented to Hertford Town Council on 14 July 2003, who resolved to refer it to East Hertfordshire District Council as the manager of the town market, with a request that a dialogue be developed in order to secure provision of a farmers' market in Hertford.
