29/08/2024 - Revised East Herts Council Emergency Plan ref: 2704    Recommendations Approved

It is imperative that the council regularly reviews its policies and procedures relating to emergency planning as is required by the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and associated guidance.

Paragraph 10.16.25 of the council's Constitution delegates authority to the Head of Housing and Health 'To be responsible for emergency planning matters'.
