As part of the redevelopment and refurbishment
of the Hartham Leisure Centre the Council needs to install a new
electrical transformer sub-station and is required and in order to
achieve this is required to grant a lease of the land to the
utility company for 99 years at a rent of £1 per annum. The
installation costs have been previously granted approval as part of
the Hartham Leisure Centre project and the grant of this lease will
not incur any further costs or loss of existing income for the
Council. The Tenant will be responsible for all future liabilities
and outgoings for the site.
