Appointment of Chairman

Minutes:

It was moved by Councillor Lloyd and seconded by Councillor Goodeve, that Councillor Williamson be appointed Chairman for the meeting. After being put to the meeting and a vote taken, the motion was declared CARRIED.

 

RESOLVED – that Councillor Williamson be appointed Chairman for the meeting.

Minutes:

Councillor Lloyd proposed and Councillor Thomas seconded, a motion that the Minutes of the meeting held on 5 July 2022 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman, subject to the following amendment:

 

Minute 4 – additional resolution: ‘It was RESOLVED that a formal Member acknowledgment of the efforts of the Revenue and Benefits Shared Service to be passed on to officers for their work during the Covid19 pandemic’.

 

After being put to the meeting and a vote taken, the motion was declared CARRIED. Councillor Goodeve abstained from voting as she had not been present at the meeting.

 

RESOLVED – that the Minutes of the meeting held on 5 July 2022, be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman, subject to the following amendment:

 

Minute 4 – additional resolution: ‘It was RESOLVED that a formal Member acknowledgment of the efforts of the Revenue and Benefits Shared Service to be passed on to officers for their work during the Covid19 pandemic’.

Exclusion of the Press and Public

To move that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of item 7 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act of the following description:

 

3. Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information)”.

Minutes:

Councillor Williamson proposed and Councillor Thomas seconded, a motion that pursuant to Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the business referred to in Minute 14 on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act.

 

After being put to the meeting and a vote taken, the motion was declared CARRIED.
