Purpose:

To extend the current lease arrangement for a further two years with Network Homes for the provision of 3 * 1 bedroomed bungalows in Hertford to be used as self-contained temporary accommodation in pursuance of the council’s homelessness duties.
The accommodation will provide additional and suitable temporary accommodation to meet current demand.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - To not extend the lease and therefore use alternative less suitable and expensive temporary accommodation, primarily in Bed and Breakfast establishments.
