In the absence of the Chairman, nominations are sought for a Member to Chair the meeting.

RESOLVED - that Councillor J Ranger be appointed Chairman for the meeting.

To receive apologies for absence

Apologies for absence were submitted by from Councillors P Ruffles and C Woodward.

To move that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of item 6 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as define in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act of the following description:

1.      “Information relating to an individual”

The Committee agreed that under Section 100(A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of item 6 on the ground that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act of the following description:

1. “Information relating to an individual”

This report will be circulated under separate cover.

The Director of Neighbourhood Services submitted a report on termination of a contract of employment by mutual agreement.

RESOLVED - that the termination of the contract of employment by mutual agreement on the terms set out in the report be approved.
